Skills for Success
Education should offer more than just theory – it should prepare young people for the real challenges they will face after graduation. To be truly valuable, it must answer not only the question What should I learn? but also How can I use it? That’s why, in the Skills for Success event series, we will explore key competencies through practical training that will help young people become more confident and capable of navigating life beyond the school walls. Lessons should be connected to the real world to make them meaningful. Topics will include:
– formal correspondence, graphic and textual formatting of CVs and cover letters for different professional situations;
– soft skills, teamwork, and workplace navigation;
– critical thinking, media literacy, and recognition of misinformation;
– technological skills – how to harness the potential of digital resources to optimize work;
– cybersecurity, online safety, and protection of personal data;
– financial literacy, personal finance management, and investments;
– techniques and tools for effective time management;
– essential legal matters relevant to young people after graduation – civil status, rights, and responsibilities.
